The team works in partnership with the organisation to provide an effective and professional service to help deliver the People Strategy, mitigate people risks and deliver effective and efficient data, processes, systems and compliance. The Head of HR Operations provide leadership and oversight on all HR processes and data management and is critical to the delivery of core services to employees, financial management of employee costs and payment and effective data management and analysis. As well as managing volume transactions will also provide coordinated support to ensure the delivery of BAU activity and corporation wide people focussed projects. In addition, this role will also have responsibility for continuing to improve our Helpline service, ensuring this is in line with agreed service levels as well as driving efficiency through processes, systems and guidance. This role will be key in dealing with the payroll provider, the outsourced contract as well as managing the recruitment team. Experience of managing an outsourced payroll function and operational activities relating to pay, payroll, reward and benefits. Skilled at delivering high quality, accurate reports and MI where requested. Excel needed. Experienced with HR IT systems. Driving implementation of reward systems and change. Experience of managing budgets. Comfortable working with senior management level, able to work with a wide range of stakeholders and navigating complex governance. Operational HR across a wide remit of service lines. Line management covering HR admin activities. Project management & experience of coordinating multiple project timelines. High levels of programme & service / supplier management capability.
